BlackBerry Q10 is a brand new smartphone by BlackBerry which is all set to release in April this year. This smartphone is going to make an entry into the market alone with other flagship device BlackBerry Z10. Unlike Z10, Q10 is going to sport a QWERTY keypad. It’s true that BlackBerry is moving towards touch screen phones, but there are still a lot of people who prefer a classic keyboard. The phone is going to be available in both black and white colors.

The design of BlackBerry Q10 is quite appealing and its back cover features a textured finish. Also, the casing is much stronger, thinner as well as lighter than many of the plastic colors. Both BlackBerry Q10 and Z 10 are going to consist of 1.5 GHz dual core processor along with a powerful 8 MP primary camera and 2 MP secondary camera. In Q10, the manufacturer has done away with the central scroll pad and call buttons so as to give way to bigger, square screen. It sports a touch screen measuring 3 inches and backed by a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels. The Super AMOLED screen looks very neat and clear. The QWERTY keypad of Q10 is designed to give the best typing experience in the phone. It is very much comfortable to use and is highly responsive. If you are a QWERTY fan, you will be highly satisfied with this phone.

This great device will be running on the latest BlackBerry 10 operating system. The main key difference between this OS and previous operating system is that it has got the great ability to separate the work and home content. Q10 is just 10.4 mm thick and weighs a mere 139 gram, making this phone quite handy. The 2 GB of RAM along with the 16 GB of internal storage ensures a smooth performance of the device. If required, you can increase the memory to up to 64 GB using a microSD card.

With devices like Q10 and Z10, the manufacturer aims to further strengthen its position in the market. In terms of connectivity, LTE, NFC, Bluetooth will be integrated in the device which enables smooth and fast transfer of files and folders. As of now the company has not revealed the price of the device, but there are strong reports that it is going to be reasonably priced. Lastly, BlackBerry Q10 looks like a brilliant upgrade for existing BlackBerry fans.
