HTC Desire X – A Desirable Smartphone

If you have a special liking for HTC Wildfire or Desire but you are unable to buy them due to their high prices then HTC is offering you another mid rage replacement for these two great devices, which is HTC Desire X. This device comes with a dual core 1GHz processor chip that powers the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Desire X uses HTC’s Sense user interface. However, this user interface does not change the basic architecture of Android and if you have been using this OS already, you won’t face any sort of problem

You will find this phone distinctly similar to HTC One X as far as the design and build of the phone is concerned. At the top, there is a sloping metal edge, whereas at the bottom you will find three touch sensitive buttons for the screen. The overall look of the device is very stylish with the aluminium trim appearance. HTC Desire X is available in two colours, i.e, white and black. The white colour version has got some blue plastic as well as silver metal detailing around it. The rubberized look of the device looks very comfortable; however, it’s prone to scratches also.

On the sides of a phone there is a volume rocker, micro USB port as well as power button. As far as the hardware of the phone is concerned, Desire X is pretty strong. It handles lightweight apps and basic web browsing amazingly well. The modest 4 inch screen of Desire X is backed by a pixel resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and results in a fairly crisp screen. In near future HTC is going to provide an update to Jelly Bean for the device.

In this phone you will get five home screens and you can add or edit apps as well as live widgets. Multi tasking is also made easy in this device due to a touch sensitive panel. HTC Desire X comes with a 5 MP camera, which is pretty decent. The camera is full of features including burst mood, red-eye reduction, still mode etc. It also has the capability to take HD photos. Users will be impressed to see the high-end features on a mid range mobile phone

Lastly, even though Desire X is nowhere in the competition with the high-end devices including One X or Samsung Galaxy S3, its offering some super features includes a stylish design, decent processor and quality camera.
