Samsung is one of the dominant companies in the smartphone market. Its Galaxy series is also one of the popular smartphone series and boasts of consisting of phones like Galaxy S III, Galaxy Y, Galaxy Ace etc. Recently, the company has launched Galaxy Ace 2 which is a mid- range device.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is the successor of the flagship model Galaxy Ace. The manufacturers have kept the design of this phone very simple and elegant. It consists of black body with rounded corners. Beneath the screen you will find physical home button. On the either sides of the home button there are touch buttons for menu and back functions. The rear of the device is stippled so as to provide necessary grip to the user. The body is made up of thin flexible plastic material Apart from that, the rear consist of camera lens and a flash. The quality of sound of the speakers might not seem very impressive for you but the headphones that Samsung provides along with the device are of excellent quality. The white coloured headphones look brilliant with black phone chassis. On the left edge of the phone there is a slot of microSD card which is protected by a little hinged cover. However, this does not impart a nice look to the device.

Samsung has also built a VGA camera in front of chassis apart from a 5 MP camera at the rear. Don’t expect that you will get great photos with this device, but the quality of photographs is still pretty decent. It sports a 3.8 inch TFT LCD which supports a pixel resolution of 800 x 480. The screen is bright and sharp and you will not face much problem while viewing it under direct sunlight. Even though it uses Android 2.3 OS, the performance is pretty decent. Some other features of the device include FM radio backed by DLNA support and Polaris Office.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 has got an 800 MHz processor that runs on a 768 MB RAM and provides a satisfactory speed to the device. The internal memory of the phone is 4 GB which can be expanded using a microSD card. Another noticeable feature of this device is a strong 1500 mAh battery and if you are an average mobile phone user, you will be far more satisfied with the performance of battery of this great phone.
